Install in four steps

  1. Get Fabric

    Install Fabric Loader for your Minecraft version, or make a Fabric instance in your launcher.

  2. Add the files

    Put Fabric API and the MCSHPortal jar for your version from the table above into your mods folder.

  3. Open MCSHPortal

    Start the game and press J, or click the logo button on the title screen or in the pause menu.

  4. Sign in

    Use your MCServerHost username or email and password, plus your two-factor code if you use one. Your servers appear straight away.

Your sign-in

Your password goes only to MCServerHost and is never saved. The game gets its own session, so your browser stays signed in, and it shows up as "MCSHPortal (this game)" in your MCServerHost sessions, where you can end it any time.

Questions

Which file do I need?

The one in the row of the Minecraft version you play. 26.1, 26.1.1 and 26.1.2 all use the 26.1 file. You can see your version in the bottom-left corner of the title screen.

Is this made by MCServerHost?

No. MCSHPortal is an unofficial mod; MCServerHost doesn't make, run or support it.

Does the server need it too?

No. It's a client-side mod: only your game needs it. It talks to MCServerHost's panel, not to your Minecraft server.

Does it work with Forge, NeoForge or Quilt?

It's a Fabric mod, built and tested on Fabric only.

The game says my Fabric Loader is too old

Run the Fabric installer again, or pick a newer loader version in your launcher. The table shows the minimum for each Minecraft version.
